Hamilton Pool

Located in Drippings Springs, just outside of Austin, Hamilton Pool Preserve is a natural pool that was created when the dome of an underground river collapsed due to massive erosion thousands of years ago.

Quite a bit of stairs. Good to bring a thick cushion, towel and good water shoes. 

Try and get there early, especially if a gorgeous day on the weekends. It can get crowded!
