Taos Art Museum and The Fechin House - Converted from a house that was built in the late 1920s by Russian artist Nicolas Fechin. He was a painter, sculptor and a woodworker. The woodworking and carvings are extraordinary. Engaging, inspiring and relevant works of art.

Millicent Rogers - A true feast for the eyes. Elegantly and thoughtfully arranged exhibits of in-house designed jewelry, Native American pottery, art & fashion. A true celebration of the Southwest heritage and culture.

The Harwood - The second oldest museum in New Mexico, The Harwood offers a solid collection, exhibition & education about the art connection to Taos & New Mexico. Stimulating programs, seminars and publications. Small space. Worth every inch of it. Add this to your list.

Seek out the many other museums in Taos and make a day of it. I have the greatest respect for these artists and they are the heart and soul of Taos.
