Known best for their Brunello di Montalcino wine, this hilltop commune is a perfectly relaxing day trip for wine enthusiasts.  Excellent bakers. Honey makers. I highly recommend you take a tour at Ciacci Piccolomini.

Definitely book a lunch at Poggio Antico… one of the best restaurants and a superb wine list. Exclusively older vintages. Very prestigious. You may want to bring your wallet for this day trip and collecting!
