Trails All Year Long

Winter. Spring. Summer. Fall. No matter what the season… Mammoth’s trail system is world class for cross-country skiing, hiking, biking, snowshoeing, snowmobiling… whatever you’re feeling that day!

300 miles of soft-surface, paved, and mixed-surface trails. Connected to the extensive Inyo National Forest. Out-and-back exploration, linking from trail to trail, and loop opportunities abound.

The Minaret Vista is my favorite. Located above he saddle on the San Joaquin Ridge. There’s a steep, winding descent into the Reds Meadow Valley. This is one of the most iconic views in the entire Sierra Nevada. Off to the west you’ll find the imposing granite spires of the Minarets.

Take note of the signage to locate individual peaks. The trail is massive so do some investigating before you head out.

The link below will guide you through the trails. Go ahead and click on ‘Activities’… mind-blowing!
